You Gotta Believe!
I’m not on the ledge at all. Losing the 3rd starter since October 1 is just another obstacle the Mets have to face that will make the World Series that much more sweet. It also just makes the rally cry that much longer: “Do it for Pedro, Orlando, and Steve!”
I’m proud of what the Mets have done so far and think that they can still manage to string together three more wins against the Cardinals. Facing the impossible is what being a Mets fan is all about. If you don’t believe me, just ask Bill Buckner.
