On the day that Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in jail for his part in a dog fighting ring, a television station here in Austin, Texas, will be airing Charlie Brown's "I Want a Dog for Christmas".  Coincidence?  I'm not sure what lurks in the mind of television executives but it is timely.

I hope Michael Vick learns his lesson and this discourages future dog fighting.  R.I.P. to all the dogs in Bad Newz Kennels.  They are in the dog wing of Heaven.
