Carlos Beltran returns to the Mets line-up after surgery.  He should have had the surgery last year, NOT earlier this year.  Anyway, that’s water under the bridge. 

The Tank’s Bottom Line: Beltran’s presence is as good as a trade for an All Star.  The Mets will need Beltran as they have a tough 11 game road trip and then host the Saint Louis Cardinals.  These next two weeks will be vital for the Mets to go back to the playoffs.
