"My nephew Ian is to blame for today's loss," Michelle texted me Sunday afternoon. She was referring to Syracuse's loss to Louisville 66-60. Ian was at the Carrier Dome for Syracuse's other loss this season to Pitt earlier this season.
Since Syracuse has only lost twice this season, it is all Ian's fault as he attended both losses. For some unknown reason, he roots for Pitt anyway and I had advised Michelle to disinherit him a while back after Syracuse’s loss to Pitt. The time has come for tough love measures. Per Michelle, Ian is hereby banned from the Carrier Dome. Invoking special executive sports privilege as President in Waiting and Uncle Tank, I will add to the punishment and hereby ground Ian immediately and indefinitely. If Syracuse wins it all (God Willing), Ian will be forgiven. Michelle's brother and Ian's father is a New York State Trooper so I have full confidence that these tough love measures will be enforced.
Let's Go Orange!
