The Mets played their first Spring Training game yesterday and won 4-2 over the Braves. Most of the Mets prospective starters did NOT play because of the rain. Smart move.
That gave playing time to young prospect Ike Davis had two hits. It prompted many to ask if he is ready for prime time. His Dad and former Yankee, Ron Davis, thinks he is ready.
If Ike is ready, the Mets should bring him up. Don’t worry about arbitration, play him now. The Mets need to win now.
